Are you a Swooper ???

Have you ever noticed that some ‘networkers’ swoop into a meeting and then slink out ??? They pass out hands full of brochures and business cards, free samples and flyers, and you never see them again ???

We certainly do not EVER want to have THAT kind of reputation !!! A true Networker wants to meet people, in a large group perhaps, and then on a personal level with a 1:1 appointment. There is NO WAY to give a sincere, and effective referral to someone unless you truly KNOW WHAT THEY DO AND HOW THEY DO IT !!!

Consistency, being present, membership, leadership, these are some of the traits that Master Networkers learn and acquire through the effective use of their Networking skills and techniques. Should we be learning and growing each day ??? YES !!! Now get out there and make a difference and BEWARE THE SWOOPERS !!!

Cathy Weaver began Networking full time in June of 2008, when she founded her Miracles With Water company. She started Networking all over the Greater Kansas City area and was soon referred to as a ‘Master Networker’. Her involvement in these groups over the years has actually awarded her designations such as 2012 Volunteer of the Year for the Olathe Chamber of Commerce; a four-time Bartlett-Olson Membership Achievement Award Recipient; and Cathy was voted into the KC Magazine’s 2013 Class of Most Influential Women.
