Chambers of Commerce ROCK !!!

River City CasinoBeing asked to speak to the Affton and Lemay Chambers of Commerce on April 9th, 2015 at the River City Casino in St. Louis was a THRILL for me.  The way the Presidents of these Chambers found out about me and my book, “Networking On Steroids”, is NETWORKING with other Chamber executives !!!

I love sharing the art form that IS Networking and I really DO enjoy taking this skill and technique to the next level.  With over 150 people in the room, I was able to meet quite a diverse group of business owners; some run small businesses while others are involved with larger corporate environments.

The common denominator in any group is – Networking can be a scary thing OR a FUN thing…it’s ALL about the make-up of the organizations involved.  If Networking is deemed a chore, it will seem such; if Networking is deemed an opportunity, it WILL be; if Networking is a chance to meet new people and build new relationships, THAT is the message the attendees with take away !!!  Did I mention, I LOVE NETWORKING !!!  Watch this video of this great group of people saying “Chambers of Commerce ROCK !!!”

Cathy Weaver began Networking full time in June of 2008, when she founded her Miracles With Water company. She started Networking all over the Greater Kansas City area and was soon referred to as a ‘Master Networker’. Her involvement in these groups over the years has actually awarded her designations such as 2012 Volunteer of the Year for the Olathe Chamber of Commerce; a four-time Bartlett-Olson Membership Achievement Award Recipient; and Cathy was voted into the KC Magazine’s 2013 Class of Most Influential Women. In 2018, Cathy was selected as the Kansas Women Business Advocate of the Year by the Kansas Department of Commerce. With the success of her Kangen Water business, dba Miracles With Water, Cathy also found the time to write 3 books: "Networking On Steroids" published in 2012, "He Hit The Clouds Running...and never looked back" published in 2017 and "Networking On Steroids PQ" published in 2020.
