Mentoring MondayCan you think of a better way to start a new week than to attend a bizwomen Mentoring Monday event at the Ritz Charles in Overland Park, Kansas ???  Thank you so much to the Kansas City Business Journal for hosting this event and to ABWA and NAWBO and so many other dynamic sponsors.  I had a WONDERFUL time Connecting and Learning from Kansas City’s finest.

The format was informative and FUN and offered discussion time as well as speed networking time.  Giving out and collecting business cards was also a possibility, if requested.  Each mentor specializes in a subject, or two or three, and offers to share her level of expertise with the 1:1 person OR with the whole table, depending upon her station.

What a way to get a ballroom FULL of women focused on the very same subject – PERSONAL GROWTH and DEVELOPMENT of Women !!!  I hope you will be able to attend this event next year; this was the 2nd Annual.  Thank you again, to the Kansas City Business Journal and bizwomen.com for this incredible experience.  www.CathyWeaverKC.com

Cathy Weaver began Networking full time in June of 2008, when she founded her Miracles With Water company. She started Networking all over the Greater Kansas City area and was soon referred to as a ‘Master Networker’. Her involvement in these groups over the years has actually awarded her designations such as 2012 Volunteer of the Year for the Olathe Chamber of Commerce; a four-time Bartlett-Olson Membership Achievement Award Recipient; and Cathy was voted into the KC Magazine’s 2013 Class of Most Influential Women. In 2018, Cathy was selected as the Kansas Women Business Advocate of the Year by the Kansas Department of Commerce. With the success of her Kangen Water business, dba Miracles With Water, Cathy also found the time to write 3 books: "Networking On Steroids" published in 2012, "He Hit The Clouds Running...and never looked back" published in 2017 and "Networking On Steroids PQ" published in 2020.
