Raw Honey for poison sumac, ivy and oak ???

When it comes to tree trimming and outdoor lawn and landscaping, I choose to do this myself, within reason of course !!! For the last couple weeks I have TRIMMED my mother’s shrubs and bushes and recently my daughter’s.  This week it was MY turn at MY house.  I have lived here for almost 18 years and have kept the trees and shrubs NEATLY trimmed … this year was to be no exception; HOWEVER, the day AFTER I trimmed my trees, I was a vision of swollen red oozing puffiness !!!  SOMETHING got me – on the berm, I suspect !!!

Being a proponent for NATURAL REMEDIES, I immediately started spraying 2.5 pH water from my Kangen Water machine…that seemed to take care of the oozing and itching – GREAT NEWS – but now I needed to get RID of the SWOLLEN FACE and NECK…so I tried aloe vera gel…then some moisturizer I have also used for years – NO RELIEF, although I could start opening my mouth a bit easier.  THEN I was told of the END ALL for poison sumac, poison ivy, and poison oak – RAW HONEY !!!  I couldn’t imagine putting that on my face but this MELON BALL is not as my image should be – I will try ANYTHING – so honey on the face and throat it is…the first 5 minutes, NO BURNING (even the inside of a banana peel burned like crazy and yes, that, too, was suggested) !  After a couple hours, I am THINKING that the redness and puffiness is lessening…we shall see but at LEAST the dryness and tightness has been relieved – RAW HONEY…WHO KNEW !!!

Laughter the best medicine
