Being asked to speak to the Affton and Lemay Chambers of Commerce on April 9th, 2015 at the River City Casino in St. Louis was a THRILL for me. The way the Presidents of these Chambers found out about me and my book, "Networking On Steroids", is NETWORKING with other Chamber executives !!! I love sharing the art form that IS Networking and I really DO enjoy taking this skill and technique to the next level. With over 150 people in the room, I was able to meet quite a diverse group of business owners; some run small businesses while others are involved with larger corporate environments. The common denominator in any group is - Networking can be a scary thing OR a FUN thing...it's ALL about the make-up of the organizations involved. If Networking is deemed a chore, it will seem such; if Networking is deemed an opportunity, it WILL be; if Networking is a chance to meet new people and build new relationships, THAT is the message the attendees with take away !!!
