Do you have any idea how incredible it is that my very dear friend, and insurance agent, is a selected Hero this year to be honored at the Annual Luncheon ??? Nicole Feltz of American Family fame has had a fundraiser each year for the past 11 years to benefit foster kiddos. She was raised in foster care and children's shelters and her annual fundraiser is her way of giving back. The hurt will most likely never go away, but she knows the power of just ONE person willing to make a difference. The Hero Luncheon will be June 18th in Overland Park, and I am THRILLED that this lady will be receiving a bit of recognition for the stupendous job she does as a foster parent AND as a Master Fund Raiser to help these kids who need SO much.
