If you own a business and you have TEAM members, most likely you have participated in a 3-way call !!! The basics are as follows: your team member will introduce YOU, the team leader, to one of their prospects to ‘explain’ the business to this potential client.
WELL, can you spell disaster in some cases !!! When you are enlisted to be the expert on the call, make sure that person KNOWS that they may not SPEAK after they edify and introduce you to the prospect. You have already been ANNOUNCED as the one who knows what the clients NEEDS to know, so the team member may NOT SPEAK …
Make sure as a team member that you edify your expert to your prospect, then introduce that expert and then NOT ANOTHER WORD other than THANK YOU SO MUCH for your time. You have enlisted the talents and knowledge this professional in your business has, so let them do the work with your prospect. DO NOT feel the need to ‘interfere’ with that process. Create the great environment for a successful business and your prospects and clients will rely on YOU to be THEIR expert when they start doing 3-way calls as YOU did with them – it’s a SUCCESS CYCLE and you need to make sure you CAUSE that success !!!
