KVC Dedication and Ribbon Cutting !!!

To be able to be in a room where everyone’s focus is the well-being and smooth transitioning of precious foster kiddos is a JOY beyond measure.  Recently, the newest ‘wing’ of the KVC Kansas Center was dedicated.  As ‘luck’ would have it, as the Ball Conference Center was abuzz with VIP’s preparing for the Ceremony, the ‘back wing’ was full of kiddos boarding busses as they prepared to meet their new foster parents.

You cannot imagine the excitement as the announcements were made regarding the work and dedication of the staff and volunteers.  This building and each of its components are true labors of love.  The donor wall is very moving, as the listing of private citizens and corporations line a hallway.  There is NO WAY to explain the feeling of a foster family receiving a new little person into their home, with NOTHING more than a clear plastic bag of basically NOTHING, other than MAYBE a change of clothes and if a baby, ONE DIAPER !!!

If you have a heart for children, OPEN YOUR HEART and donate to an organization with a HEART for foster kiddos and foster parents.  Hug YOUR kids tighter !!!
