Every quarter, the Olathe Chamber of Commerce, 5-Star Accredited by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, hosts a New Member Luncheon at the Olathe Health Systems Campus. Being a member of this Chamber since 2008, I have had the privilege of attending often, and meeting all the New Members who are VERY excited to get involved in this MEGA Chamber of Commerce.
The staff is in attendance, as many of them as is possible; someone has to run the ship from the office, and the New Members are able to meet and ask questions of the sponsors, the hosts, and the Chamber staff and volunteers. Getting involved in this Chamber is one of the launching pads for my career and my book and my public speaking opportunities, and getting to meet so many long-time Chamber members and VIP’s has catapulted me to a success level I would never have imagined.
