I meet with people every week who are surviving the death of a very special person, or two, or three. How long will it take for me to ‘get over’ this ? How long before I feel ‘normal’ again ?
With the publishing of my new book, “He Hit The Clouds Running … and never looked back …” I have been able to speak to groups and organizations regarding the process of grief, through my own extensive experience, of course. I offer hope and inspiration with a message of Homecoming. When I replaced my ‘loss of History with those who have gone before us’ with the realization that they have achieved their ultimate Homecoming, for which many of us strive, my pain was lessened by knowing they are in the Glorious Presence of God. Still hard to be without those precious people, I am now able to picture each of them in the arms of my Father.
