Can you imagine, 42 years ago today, I met the love of my life. Bells went off – hearts throbbed – we both knew we were at the very beginning of something extraordinary.
18 months later, we were married – 14 months after that, we had our first child – 3 years and 7 months after that, we had our second. We enjoyed 17 years and 12 days of true wedded bliss, the likes of which VERY FEW people ever experience for ONE day much less, 6217 days we were blessed by being together.
With 23 years of my grief journey under my belt, my beloved had his Homecoming in 1995, I am able to share my journey and the message of hope with others. My second book, “He Hit The Clouds Running…and never looked back…” was published in July 2017. Connect with me via this site and I will be happy to send you a copy. Because of God’s goodness, and the apparent NEED for the message of Hope and Homecoming, I am able to train funeral home staff and Hospice workers on how to best handle those of us who are muddling through the dying process.
Care-giving is one of the hardest things I have ever done, second ONLY to single parenting; neither of which I could have survived if not for my belief in Jesus Christ.
